Our 3 Methods of Drilling:
AIR DRIVEN: Our preferred method of drilling. Very Precise. Steel Casing is advanced as we drill. Small aquifers are easily found, and multiple aquifers can be tested as we drill. We have been using this method since the early 80's.
MUD ROTARY: Drilling mud is circulated to bring up drilling cuttings and stabilize the bore hole. Drillers must determine aquifer by looking at mud cuttings. Faster but less precise a larger hole is drilled to depth then casing is set in place and grouted. Typically casing is not moved once set and water can only be tested once casing is installed.
WE ONLY USE THIS METHOD WHEN NECCESSARY ON DEEP CASED WELLS OR GEO THERMAL WELLS WITH NO CASING.
DUAL ROTARY AIR: The newest method to our area. Similar to air driven wells , but casing is advanced by rotating simultaneously with the drill bit while the drill bit is 1" to 1 ft ahead of the casing. Water can be tested as we drill. There is no percussion so the ground is not disturbed. No stress on the casing. Casing can be moved up and down easily to find the best spot in an aquifer. Extremely Precise Casing can be drilled though extreme overburden straight.

24 Hr Pump and Well Repair
We have 3 service truck ready to handle all types of repairs. From something as simple as a broken wire to installing a 200 hp submersible we have done it.
We typically have a same day turnaround on service calls and carry a large inventory of parts on hand.
Hydrofracking
We offer hydrofracking for slow production wells. We use 2 packer and also 2 large high pressure pumps to double the amount of water and pressure we can inject into the well to greatly help out with our return.
Dual Rotary Drilling

IN 2018
The casing is advance by rotating it simultaneously with the drill bit.
Only drilling ahead of the casing a few inches to a ft. With no percussion makes it extremely precise and can find water in the smallest of water veins without destroying or disrupting them.
Well Sealing or Caping
If you have a well that is not in use. It must be put in use or be sealed according to Minnesota Department of Health and WI DNR.
We can seal all types of wells and elevator shafts.

We are heading into our 3rd generation of water well drillers. Started in 1968 in Cromwell, MN. Then moved to Wrenshall, MN in 1977 where we are still located today.
We opened a second location in 2017 in Willow River, MN to better service our Pine County Customers.
